Rurouni Kenshin

Rurouni Kenshin is set in the Meiji era. Kenshin Himura tries to live with his past and his decision never to kill again. Kaoru Kamiya’s dojo and her ideal of a sword that protects life give the companions a direction in everyday life. The manga, which began in 1994, the different television anime, OVAs, and live-action films do not present entirely identical accounts of events.
