ABOUT Kallen Stadtfeld / 01—0601First appearance and background
Kallen Stadtfeld appears in the 2006 original television anime Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and has identities connected to both school and the resistance organization. The two television seasons, recap films, and Lelouch of the Re;surrection follow different continuity arrangements and cannot simply be combined into one unbranched account of her experiences.
02Personality and appeal
She acts directly and is keenly aware of her identity and position, while the persona she deliberately presents at school contrasts with her actual character. Her loyalty does not mean she never questions things; her judgments at important stages should be considered in light of the information available to her at the time.
03Story journey
Joining the Black Knights and piloting the Guren draw her into a larger conflict, continually testing her personal trust and political goals. Different machines and duties belong to different stages, so she should not be credited with all her later capabilities from the outset.
04Relationships
Zero is an important organizational and trust connection for her; Kaname Ohgi and others are her comrades, Naoto Kouzuki is her older brother, and her mother’s experiences shape her understanding of family. Loyalty to an organization does not establish a romance or marriage, and her English–Japanese background does not change specific blood relationships.
05Versions and visual identity
Short red hair, blue eyes, and a red-and-black color scheme are identifying features. This page uses a fully covering pilot jacket; portraits may show her refusal to back down, blunt retorts, a moment’s hesitation, and a natural smile with comrades.
06Fan interpretations
Fan interpretation: Kallen Stadtfeld’s story creates tension between loyalty to a person and commitment to an ideal. When she chooses to question, keep trusting, or reassess is more worth discussing than judging her solely as an ace pilot.
