ABOUT Linna Yamazaki / 01—0601First appearance and background
This profile centers on the original Bubblegum Crisis OVA beginning in 1987. Linna is a Knight Saber with a green Hard Suit. An aerobics instructor with aspirations in dance, she is noticed and recruited by Sylia.
02Personality and appeal
She often shows a more everyday sociability than Priss and shares comic moments with Nene. Practicality and concern about money should not reduce her to greed; care for endangered friends connects her private life to the team’s actions.
03Story journey
In the original she confronts rogue Boomers and related threats alongside her teammates. Green armor and agile movement distinguish her action scenes. Dance and training inform that physicality but do not establish invented championships or combat records.
04Relationships
Sylia is the leader who recruits her, while Priss and Nene are teammates, not biological sisters. Irene connects to her personal life and related events rather than simply being a combat colleague. The original does not support adding a confirmed husband, children or detailed names for remake-era parents.
05Versions and visual identity
Bubblegum Crash continues the original setting with changes to work and equipment, while the 1998 Tokyo 2040 is a reimagining. Its office job, family background and recruitment story should not be inserted into the 1987 version. Artwork uses original-era dark hair, headband and green armor cues, with fan-adapted casual clothing.
06Fan interpretations
Linna can be read as a city hero who still needs a job and a life. Dance aspirations, income concerns and friendships bring pressures beyond armored combat. This is interpretation rather than added canon; remembering only the armor color misses her connection to ordinary life.
