ABOUT Menat / 01—0601First appearance and background
She first appeared as a fortune-teller in Ed’s Street Fighter V story before becoming a playable addition. Separating narrative appearance from playable release preserves the debut sequence; 2016 is the base game year, not her playable launch year. Contemporary reporting on August 28, 2017 scheduled availability for August 30 in Japan Standard Time; timezone matters when comparing dates.
02Personality and appeal
Her speech is polite and light, with a flustered, clumsy side. She recognizes something unusual in Ed’s Psycho Power, yet her divination still needs practice and Rose reminds her to focus. Insight and apprentice mistakes coexist rather than making her omniscient.
03Story journey
Soul Power controls her crystal sphere, with graceful movements recalling rhythmic gymnastics. Her story takes Rose’s message about destined battles to Oro, then leads her toward Bison’s base and Psycho Power resembling Ed’s. She carries her teacher’s message, not command of Shadaloo.
04Relationships
Rose is her teacher, not a confirmed mother. Their bond concerns training and inheritance of techniques, not established blood relation. Fighting another character does not automatically make them a permanent enemy or close friend.
05Versions and visual identity
Purple bobbed hair, brown skin, gold ornaments and the orb identify her. Fully covering fan-adapted clothing and photographic avatars are not official film versions. The sphere called Left Eye of Lion is not a pet animal.
06Fan interpretations
Her combat can be read as leaving a stage prop in play and retrieving it at the right moment. This helps viewers appreciate orb-and-movement coordination and inspires fan scenes; it is a visual reading, not a new secret origin.
