ABOUT Milia Fallyna Jenius / 01—0601First appearance and background
She debuted in episode 12 of the 1982 television anime as a Zentradi power-armor ace. The 1984 film reworks her background and designation as Milia 639; she did not first appear as a mayor in Macross 7.
02Personality and appeal
Her undefeated record makes victory central to pride, so losing to Max is difficult to accept. Pride and anger contrast with confusion over everyday culture. She should not be reduced to a gentle wife or represented by identical smiles.
03Story journey
Spoilers: after defeat she micronizes and infiltrates the ship to find Max. Arcade and park confrontations transform their relationship. After marriage she pilots a red VF-1J alongside him and learns to consider preserving her people’s lives.
04Relationships
Maximilian Jenius is her confirmed husband, not only a rival. Komilia and Macross 7’s Mylene are daughters; Mirage is a granddaughter. Later family and mayoral history belongs to a subsequent life stage rather than her initial appearance.
05Versions and visual identity
The early TV design is a teenage warrior. The film’s Meltlandi faction differs from television. Macross 7 makes her City 7’s mayor at another age and duty stage. This page uses early green-haired identity with a fully covering fan-adapted red pilot outfit.
06Fan interpretations
Her change can be read as moving from knowing only victory to learning coexistence. Combat skill does not automatically teach parenting or Earth life; awkward daily moments give the ace comedy. This recognizes unfamiliar challenges without erasing her competence.
