ABOUT Mai / 01—0601First appearance and background
Mai appears early as Pilaf’s subordinate, often paired with Shu. Her original incarnation is an adult woman, the design used in this gallery.
02Personality and appeal
She executes plans with a straight face but gets caught in the gang’s comic failures. The clash between composure and absurd missions makes her more than a generic villain’s assistant.
03Story journey
She joins Pilaf’s early Dragon Ball schemes. Super adds the rejuvenated present-timeline Mai and adult Future Mai from Future Trunks’s timeline; these stages must not be conflated.
04Relationships
Pilaf is her early leader and Shu her colleague. Future Mai and Future Trunks share resistance work and affection; present Mai and young Trunks belong to a separate timeline, not one interchangeable married couple.
05Versions and visual identity
Long black hair, green military clothing and a cap identify original adult Mai. This is not a child-looking Mai gallery; Future Mai’s clothing and history require separate context.
06Fan interpretations
Fan joke: would Pilaf’s gang fail less if Mai could choose a sensible plan? This extends the early comedy, not an official alternate ending or explanation of every Future Mai decision.
