ABOUT Mitsuri Kanroji / 01—0601First appearance and background
Mitsuri appears in the manga in 2016 as the Love Hashira. Unexpected strength and a distinctive combat style underpin her lively exterior; cheerfulness does not mean a lack of responsibility in danger.
02Personality and appeal
She readily notices others’ strengths and expresses emotion openly. Shyness, admiration and bravery coexist; her cheerful nature need not be treated as the opposite of competence.
03Story journey
Her background involves accepting her traits and finding a place to use her strength. Swordsmith Village material shows her protecting others, connecting everyday charm with determination in combat.
04Relationships
Corps companions and family support her; her bond with Obanai Iguro is important. Romance discussion should cite specific arcs rather than treating every friendly interaction as romantic evidence.
05Versions and visual identity
Pink-to-green braids, green eyes and a white haori identify her. This artwork uses a modest fully covered uniform rather than exposure to express personality. Clothing adjustments are fan-art choices, not official redesigns.
06Fan interpretations
Fan interpretation: does Mitsuri represent not hiding difference? Past and present support a reading in which strength, appetite and feeling belong to the self. Resonance is not proof of a single author-confirmed meaning for every detail.
