ABOUT Naomi Misora / 01—0601First appearance and background
Naomi debuts in manga chapter 8 and anime episode 5 as a former FBI agent. She investigates her fiancé Raye Penber’s death independently, rather than on an active Bureau assignment.
02Personality and appeal
She uses an alias cautiously and identifies crucial implications in unusual deaths. Grief does not erase her expertise, but trust in authority and familiar connections becomes a vulnerability. Reasoning and sorrow coexist.
03Story journey
Trying to report findings to the task force, she meets Light first. He exploits her past with L to gain trust; the encounter depends on unequal information, not combat. Another Note explores an earlier Los Angeles case.
04Relationships
Raye is her fiancé, not a confirmed husband. L is a detective she previously assisted; Light deceives her and is not a colleague or romantic partner. The novel’s BB case does not make BB the real L.
05Versions and visual identity
This set follows anime long black hair, gray-blue eyes and black jacket. Manga hazel eyes differ, and live-action events or endings belong to their adaptations. Photo avatars are fan artwork, not official stills.
06Fan interpretations
What if Naomi had delivered her evidence? That is a fan counterfactual, not an event that occurred. Skepticism, realization, resolve, concern and fatigue offer varied reactions beyond a fixed cold stare.
