ABOUT Cagalli Yula Athha / 01—0601First appearance and background
Cagalli appears in SEED episode 1, first broadcast October 5, 2002. This profile starts there; her responsibilities as national representative belong to Destiny, not her initial role.
02Personality and appeal
She often acts before thinking, with anger rooted in refusing needless sacrifice. That passion connects her to ordinary people but cannot by itself solve diplomatic and domestic political problems.
03Story journey
She joins Desert Dawn, travels with the Archangel and flies a Skygrasper. Later she pilots Strike Rouge to help stop the war. In Destiny, Orb’s involvement creates a political crisis; she pilots Akatsuki and reasserts leadership.
04Relationships
Kira Yamato is her twin brother and Uzumi Nara Athha her adoptive father. Athrun Zala is a romantic partner. Yuna Roma Seiran is involved in an arranged political engagement, but the interrupted wedding does not establish him as her husband.
05Versions and visual identity
Cagalli is a Natural; being Kira’s twin does not make her a Coordinator. SEED, Destiny and Freedom represent different periods with changing outfits and duties. Site avatars, reactions and daily scenes are fan art, not anime stills.
06Fan interpretations
One reading asks how personal justice changes under national responsibility. Early Cagalli can rush toward danger; as representative she must consider everyone affected by a decision. This interpretation does not endorse every political choice she makes.
