Queen Emeraldas

Leiji Matsumoto’s Queen Emeraldas follows a female space pirate through journeys shaped by freedom, solitude and longing. A 1975 precursor led to a 1978 serial and later OVA. She also appears in related titles such as Galaxy Express 999; shared characters do not make all versions one uniform timeline.
