ABOUT Hot Ice Hilda / 01—0601First appearance and background
This profile references the 1998 TV anime rather than claiming the earliest debut in every medium. She hires Gene and Jim as Rachel Sweet before revealing connections to pirates and the XGP. Her incomplete past should not be expanded into an invented military career.
02Personality and appeal
Decisiveness and vigilance shape her negotiations in dangerous situations. Rather than simply calling her cold, notice how threats, cooperation and protection respond to changing circumstances. Experience does not make her immune to miscalculation.
03Story journey
After stealing the XGP, she is pursued by pirates and leads Gene’s group toward the hidden ship. She dies during the escape; Gene names it Outlaw Star in her memory. His later visions do not establish a physical resurrection.
04Relationships
Gene is hired by her and joins her escape. Their intimacy is depicted differently in manga and anime; details should remain version-specific. Jim participates in early jobs, and Melfina connects to the stolen ship. Unsupported marriage, children and kinship are not facts.
05Versions and visual identity
Red hair, an eyepatch and a mechanical prosthesis identify her; the injuries connect to pirate conflict. Original television, manga and edited overseas broadcasts handle some scenes differently. Travel jackets and varied portraits here are fan designs, not official costumes or casting.
06Fan interpretations
She invites a question about brief appearances with lasting impact: the ship’s name and Gene’s memories keep her choices present after her departure. Reading her as a guide into adventure is better grounded than inventing a resurrection conspiracy. This is interpretation, not a hidden official ending.
