ABOUT Lunamaria Hawke / 01—0601First appearance and background
This profile begins with the 2004 Destiny series, not SEED’s 2002 premiere. Freedom takes place later; equipment and organizational changes must be read in that later context.
02Personality and appeal
The official profile describes her as bright and competitive. She approaches colleagues and speaks her mind, yet hesitates when personal feelings clash with duty. Concern for family affects her judgment.
03Story journey
A Coordinator and ZAFT red-uniform pilot aboard Minerva, she initially flies a red ZAKU Warrior. After Shinn receives Destiny, she takes over Impulse. These are successive assignments, not interchangeable machine names.
04Relationships
Meyrin is her younger sister, Shinn a teammate and romantic partner, and Rey a fellow pilot. Early attraction to Athrun does not make her his wife. Meyrin’s departure with Athrun is not proof of death.
05Versions and visual identity
She initially believes her sister dead, then learns Meyrin is alive with the Archangel side and questions continued fighting. Distinguish what she knows at a given moment from facts later revealed to viewers. Site artwork is fan art.
06Fan interpretations
Her story can be read through whom to trust: military explanations, teammates’ emotions and news that her sister lives do not always agree. Conflict tests personal trust as well as machines. This is interpretation, not added plot.
