ABOUT Ophiuchus Shaina / 01—0601First appearance and background
Shaina is the Ophiuchus Silver Saint in the manga begun in late 1985. Opposition to Seiya changes later; she is distinct from spinoff Ophiuchus figures.
02Personality and appeal
Proud and intense, she acts through complicated emotions. Protectiveness does not require sudden meekness; strength and vulnerability coexist.
03Story journey
Training rivalry, the mask incident and Sanctuary conflict matter. Rules for female Saints are fictional institutions, not real-world gender prescriptions.
04Relationships
Cassios is her pupil; Seiya brings conflict and feelings, and Marin is a fellow Silver Saint. Changes deserve context beyond pursuit of love.
05Versions and visual identity
Green hair, a full silver mask and purple Cloth mark classic anime; versions vary. Masked portraits use gestures, not a generic eye mask.
06Fan interpretations
Fan discussion: why is her forcefulness memorable? Strong action and feeling matter, but institutional pressure should not be romanticized as compulsory love.
