Revolutionary Girl Utena

The duels at Ohtori Academy, the ideal of a prince, and the identity of the Rose Bride form a story rich in symbolism. Utena and Anthy’s relationship repeatedly calls protection, power, and freedom of choice into question. The manga, television series, and film do not share the same plot.
