ABOUT Tushan Yaya / 01—0601First appearance and background
Tushan Yaya comes from the Chinese manhua Fox Spirit Matchmaker. The comic began in 2012 and the animation in 2015; the original-work year distinguishes the versions rather than claiming a verified chapter of her personal debut. She belongs to Tushan’s fox spirits in a story about human-spirit bonds and memory.
02Personality and appeal
The older Yaya often meets outsiders with severity and composure, while her younger self shows emotions more openly. Reducing her to an aloof expression loses that contrast. Pride, competitiveness and devotion to her elder sister help explain what she takes personally.
03Story journey
The story’s long timespan and flashbacks show Yaya at different life stages. Honghong and Dongfang Yuechu’s past, Tushan’s later order, and the present story of Susu and Bai Yuechu form her context. Identifying the period of a scene matters more than treating every design as simultaneous.
04Relationships
Honghong is Yaya’s elder sister and Rongrong her younger sister. Susu’s identity is connected to changes in Honghong’s powers and memory, so she should not be treated as an unrelated extra sister. Dongfang Yuechu’s romance with Honghong must not be reassigned to Yaya.
05Versions and visual identity
Red-and-white clothing, fox ears, long hair and a wine gourd make the older design recognizable; cool lighting suits her ice powers. Younger flashback designs should be labelled separately. This fan-art set uses the older, fully clothed portrayal, with adaptations that are not presented as official new costumes.
06Fan interpretations
An unimpressed sideways glance, a smile holding back irritation, pride, surprise and a rare relaxed moment offer more range than eight identical cold stares. Discussion of her admiration for her sister benefits from specific scenes, while unconfirmed motives remain interpretations rather than a single declared answer.
