Beyond the Boundary

Nagomu Torii’s light novels place spirit warriors and supernatural beings beside school life. Mirai Kuriyama and Akihito Kanbara face unusual bloodlines, dangerous powers and the difficulty of accepting help. Kyoto Animation’s TV adaptation and 2015 films develop their own continuity, so character histories need version context.
