ABOUT Hakari Hanazono / 01—0601First appearance and background
Hakari enters the manga in chapter 1, “Hanazono-san and Inda-san.” Rikito Nakamura and Yukiko Nozawa’s series launched in Weekly Young Jump’s combined 2020 issue 4–5. That issue actually went on sale on December 26, 2019, which explains the 2019 introduction year used here.
02Personality and appeal
Hakari’s gentle manner does not make her passive. The anime profile describes a planner who sometimes trips over her own schemes, yet remains considerate toward people besides Rentaro. Watching calculation and sincerity share the same expression is one way to enjoy her comic timing.
03Story journey
[Spoilers] The official synopsis for anime episode 9 credits Hakari with proposing the flower-park outing. A bouquet event becomes a challenge for the group of six. The episode offers another angle on her initiative: an occasion shaped by personal hopes can also draw everyone into cooperation.
04Relationships
[Spoilers] Shueisha’s profile says Hakari and Karane confess to Rentaro soon after starting high school. Hakari thus helps establish the story’s first relationships. The premise asks Rentaro to make every destined partner happy; her feelings give that extravagant challenge a personal starting point.
05Versions and visual identity
The official anime expression sheet shows a shoulder-skimming pink bob, softly separated bangs, green eyes and white flower clips beside Hakari’s face. Shueisha’s two-tone manga portrait shares the flowers and facial outline, but cannot establish natural colors. Any AI illustrations here would be unofficial fan art.
06Fan interpretations
The series still had visible overseas fan engagement in 2026. Its official report covers an August Anime NYC panel with Hakari’s actor Kaede Hondo and two fellow leads. This documents an international audience event, without supplying comparable attendance figures or a ranking of Hakari’s individual popularity.
