ABOUT Shizuka Minamoto / 01—0601First appearance and background
Shizuka appears early in Doraemon. Publication began in late 1969 in issues dated 1970, explaining both dates; she remains a schoolchild.
02Personality and appeal
Kind and empathetic, she has preferences, worries and anger. She is not a smiling prize; concern for friends matters.
03Story journey
School, music practice, gatherings and adventures form her life. Gadget misunderstandings coexist with bravery in longer stories.
04Relationships
Nobita, Doraemon, Gian and Suneo are companions; Dekisugi shares interests. Future scenes and present friendship should be distinguished.

Dark pigtails, pink clothes and a child’s face are familiar; adaptations vary. Avatars preserve childhood and use everyday scenes.
06Fan interpretations
Fan reading: why understand Nobita? Kindness and shared experiences offer more than protagonist privilege; her judgment gives friendship weight.
