ABOUT Alicia Florence / 01—0601First appearance and background
Alicia belongs to Kozue Amano’s AQUA and ARIA, beginning with AQUA in 2001. She is Aria Company’s senior Undine and one of Neo-Venezia’s Three Water Fairies, known as Snow White. At the story’s opening she is already a qualified Prima.
02Personality and appeal
Her calm smile answers many of Akari’s questions, but she also enjoys teasing familiar friends. Playful exchanges with Akira keep her from being merely an ideal senior. Her kindness gives students room to observe and try rather than solving everything for them.
03Story journey
She qualified as Prima at fifteen and later inherited the company and teaching role from Akino. Near the conclusion she examines Akari for Prima, then announces marriage and a move to the Gondola Association. Her departure leaves her student responsible for the company’s everyday work.
04Relationships
Akari is her student and increasingly a close friend. Akira is a childhood friend; Akino is her mentor and Aria Company’s founder. The late story announces Alicia’s marriage, but this guide does not invent a spouse’s identity or recast Akari as her daughter.
05Versions and visual identity
The 2005 anime ARIA The ANIMATION gives her voice, laugh and rowing movement a distinct presence. Blue trim on her white uniform identifies Aria Company. Snow White is a professional title, not a claim that she is a supernatural fairy. Early age and later retirement belong to separate stages.
06Fan interpretations
Why did she delay Akari’s Prima exam? The closing explanation reveals reluctance: her student’s graduation would also mark her own departure. The detail makes the gentle mentor human; helping someone grow also means learning to leave a treasured routine behind.
