Delicious in Dungeon ↗ / 2014
Falin, Laios’s younger sister, specializes in healing and spirit magic. Being swallowed after protecting the party makes her rescue the journey’s central goal, while later events entangle her body and will with the dungeon’s power.

ABOUT Falin Touden / 01—0601First appearance and background
She appears at the start of Ryoko Kui’s manga in 2014, with her sacrifice during the dragon battle establishing the rescue objective. Later events and recollections develop her own judgments and history beyond her role as someone to save.
02Personality and appeal
Gentle curiosity accompanies an unusual sensitivity to spirits and living things. A soft manner does not make her passive: she can assess the party’s situation quickly and accept danger to secure everyone else’s escape.
03Story journey
After the dragon swallows her, the party returns for her remains and Marcille attempts resurrection with ancient magic. Revival does not end the danger: transformation into a chimera makes restoring her selfhood part of the rescue.
04Relationships
She shares family history with Laios and a magic-school friendship with Marcille. Shuro’s romantic feelings and proposal do not amount to an established marriage, and the manga likewise does not confirm Falin and Marcille as romantic partners.
05Versions and visual identity
The manga from 2014 and television anime beginning in 2024 depict her human form and later transformation; TRIGGER produces the animation. The chimera is a canonical consequence of events, unlike fan-created winged costumes or modern alternate settings.
06Fan interpretations
Readers use Falin to explore why caregivers also need care and whether bodily change alters identity. Farcille works amplify her intimacy with Marcille, but those readings should not replace the text’s distinct friendships, family bonds, and individual wishes.
