ABOUT Shizuka Marikawa / 01—0601First appearance and background
Shizuka is Fujimi Academy’s school nurse who escapes with the students. The manga began in 2006; the 2010 anime opens with the school crisis. She is an adult aged 27, not a student.
02Personality and appeal
She seems absent-minded and slow to react but applies serious medical judgment. Frightened by the disaster, she still takes responsibility for the younger survivors. A light manner coexists with real expertise.
03Story journey
She provides care and drives vehicles during the escape. Her friend’s home supplies temporary shelter, giving her a practical role beyond combat. The unfinished story does not justify inventing a definitive final fate.
04Relationships
Rika Minami is her friend and housemate, not a confirmed sister. Takashi, Rei and Saeko are fellow survivors. Caring for Alice does not establish a biological mother-daughter relationship.
05Versions and visual identity
Long blonde hair and brown-to-hazel eyes anchor this set. A buttoned shirt, dark cardigan and trousers are everyday fan costumes rather than exact canonical reproductions. Photo and toy avatars are stylistic adaptations.
06Fan interpretations
Combat is not her main contribution; care, driving and reassurance help the group keep moving. That support is worth discussing. Sleepiness, panic, medical explanation and encouragement offer usable reactions.
