ABOUT Fumiko Mifune / 01—06

01First appearance and background

Her debut year is 2023: Marco Antonio Moreno identifies chapter 136 as her introduction, and Shueisha dates it July 19, 2023. The series itself began in 2018.

02Personality and appeal

[Chapters 137–138 spoilers] She prioritizes finishing her karaoke song amid an attack. That choice gives her casual manner a concrete edge and complicates her performance as a guard.

03Story journey

[Chapters 136–138 spoilers] Yoshida arranges her meeting with Denji. Chapter 138 clarifies her Public Safety assignment and age of 22. This early-story profile retains that adult identity.

04Relationships

[Early relationship spoilers] Yoshida connects her to Denji, whom she is assigned to guard. Her interest in Chainsaw Man overlaps with the job; it does not establish a romantic relationship.

05Versions and visual identity

The reference is Shueisha’s volume-19 cover: dark short hair, tied side locks, a pale shirt and dark trousers. Its warm lighting belongs to that illustration. This page’s illustrations are unofficial AI-generated fan art, not official manga panels or character artwork.

06Fan interpretations

She placed 37th with 1,727 votes in the official third popularity poll. [Fan reading] Her early appearances can question whether having a protector brings security. That is an interpretation, not an author-confirmed conclusion.
