ABOUT Android 21 / 01—0601First appearance and background
She debuted in the story mode of 2018’s Dragon Ball FighterZ, not the manga’s 1984 opening. Her initial scientist identity, an anomaly weakening familiar fighters and hostile clones form the game’s central mystery.
02Personality and appeal
Her appeal goes beyond visual transformation: analytical thought clashes with an urge to consume. Gentle, rational behavior contrasts with dangerous hunger, but alignment also depends on story routes and a split; changing clothes alone does not define personality.
03Story journey
[Spoilers] The game reveals her Bio-Android nature and places her at the center of the final conflict in all three routes. She can fly, use ki, copy abilities and turn targets into sweets. Route-specific events should not be stitched into one history.
04Relationships
Super Hero identifies the human model Vomi as Dr. Gero’s wife and Gevo’s mother; Gevo inspired Android 16’s appearance. Distinguish that human from FighterZ’s Android 21 rather than assigning every family event to the game character. She is not the sister of 17 and 18.
05Versions and visual identity
A separate playable Lab Coat version joined FighterZ in February 2022. Both the human-looking scientist and pink Majin form are recognizable. This gallery uses long brown hair, glasses, a lab coat and a dark dress consistently rather than swapping forms between avatars.
06Fan interpretations
[Fan interpretation] Understanding a problem does not guarantee control over desire. Scientific reason cannot automatically suppress her hunger, making conflict more than a power upgrade. This is a game-theme reading, not a claim that she appears in every Dragon Ball continuity.
