ABOUT Rin Sawaki / 01—0601First appearance and background
Rin’s manga debut is dated here to 2022. Bylined ciatr reporting identifies chapter 64; fan documentation records an earlier background appearance in chapter 54. Shueisha dates these to July 12 and April 26, 2022. The year agrees, although the first panel was not directly verified. The manga began in 2021; her volume-15 storyline is a later development.
02Personality and appeal
Rin takes her class-rep duties seriously and will argue with Momo face to face. Shueisha also describes her active imagination, singing ability and light-novel hobby. An official anniversary profile adds that she once handed in her self-insert-fiction notebook instead of her homework. Her earnestness leaves room for very ordinary embarrassment.
03Story journey
Spoilers: in volume 15, Rin tells Okarun that after finding a golden ball she sometimes sees him as a handsome vampire and feels a crushing weight on her back. Shueisha connects this to her past. Its anniversary profile explains that a reunion with an old friend, now the Ombusman spirit, leads to gravity-controlling song. This describes that story phase, not every later form.
04Relationships
Okarun is her classmate; Momo is the girl she initially confronts. Spoilers: Mai Kawabanga was a childhood friend with whom she pursued an idol dream, and the later guardian spirit Kawabanga is tied to that history. Rin’s arguments and vampire fantasies do not establish a confirmed romance. The official profile classifies Rin herself as a human female, distinct from the spirit.
05Versions and visual identity
The selected school design has low pigtails, large glasses, a collared shirt, bow and lapelled jacket. Official episode-22 imagery supplies dark-brown hair, blue-violet frames and a green bow. References qualify the upper body only; skirt and footwear details remain unverified. Her high-school life stage is preserved without an unverified numerical age. Site illustrations are unofficial AI-assisted fan artwork.
06Fan interpretations
Fan interpretation: the contrast between duty, fantasy and singing can be read as a serious student finding ways to express herself. That is this page’s reading. Rin placed 17th with 1,987 votes in Shueisha’s first character poll and retains a dedicated 2026 anniversary profile. These show support in a specific poll and continuing visibility, not a live or cross-series popularity ranking.
