The Sky Crawlers

Mamoru Oshii’s 2008 The Sky Crawlers, produced by Production I.G, adapts Hiroshi Mori’s novels. The eternally adolescent Kildren fly in wars adults operate as entertainment. Yuichi Kannami arrives at Suito Kusanagi’s base and confronts questions of memory and repetition. This topic follows the film, separating novels and games and marking relationship spoilers instead of replacing facts with speculation.
