ABOUT Ruan Mei / 01—0601First appearance and background
Ruan Mei is Genius Society member81, researching the nature of life. She became playable in version1.6 in2023. Her research connects her to Herta Space Station, but an associated location does not establish that she was born there.
02Personality and appeal
Gentle speech and an interest in pastries, opera and embroidery coexist with a willingness to treat others as experimental variables. Refinement does not cancel the consequences of her decisions. Her appeal involves a tension that can be intriguing and unsettling at once.
03Story journey
Space Station mission spoilers: she cultivates artificial life and arranges an encounter with a replica of a Propagation Emanator without fully disclosing the danger. Consent and information matter here. Her unexpected feelings toward her creations further complicate a supposedly detached investigation.
04Relationships
Herta and Screwllum are research collaborators, not relatives or automatically her superiors. The Trailblazer encounters her work and becomes part of an experiment, creating tension between trust and caution. Her relationship with artificial life raises a creator’s responsibilities rather than establishing an ordinary biological family.
05Versions and visual identity
Dark brown hair, teal ornaments and plum-blossom imagery identify her. Her original combat form is five-star Ice Harmony; narrative scholarship and Erudition should not be confused with that gameplay label. Page images are AI-assisted fan interpretations, not official art or merchandise photographs.
06Fan interpretations
A wordless vignette could show uninterrupted note-taking until a dessert plate is moved away. Research focus contrasts with a private pleasure; the event is invented. Scrutiny, slight surprise, quiet satisfaction and refusal offer more useful reactions than repeating a gentle smile.
